Seeds of Learning

This is an introductory agriculture course for adult learners that draws on unit standards for Agriculture at ABET Level 4 and delivers these at an ABET Level 2 communications level.

Vice Dean of Agriculture at Fort Hare, Marco Brutsch commented as follows about the material:

"Seeds of Learning engages learners in various agricultural learning activities. Used by learners alone and in group situations, the course stimulates, informs and questions. It succeeds in using laregely familiar activities of agriculture to develop the communication skills of ABET learners. This gives them the opportunity to use language for learning as well as appropriate communication for specific purposes. The technical agricultural information contained in the course, though basic, is also useful and well presented."
