Beating Poverty with SKills for Life Series

This series is for small-scale farmers in southern Africa. It provides farmers with clear information on how to start a farming project and achieve the best farming practices in each of the topics covered. It links practical hands-on agriculture skills with educational approaches used in effective ABET delivery through courseware. This material contributes to the economic upliftment of people who have led a marginalised existence living on and working off the land. With their emphasis on skills for self-empowerment and entrepreneurship, the ultimate goal is that they live up to the promise boldly stated in the series title.
